Blue skies in Arundel

Travels with Matilda - Day 13 and our last day with M&R in W.Sussex.  We spent the morning in Tangmere at the WW2 Aviation Museum which was much enjoyed by R and Mr T.    Douglas Bader was stationed at Tangmere and from where he flew Hurricanes in the Battle of Britain.  M and I enjoyed delicious homemade cheese scones and Cappuccinos in the cafe! We were lucky enough to find a car parking spot in Arundel in the afternoon, not enough time to go round the magnificent  castle but we had a mooch round the lovely shops, fed the ducks at the lake and had a pot of tea at the  Black Rabbit sitting out by the River.

Fantastic Dinner at The White Horse in Pulborough ended a perfect few days with wonderful friends, and a few more lbs/or even kilos accumulated in unwelcome areas!!.

De-camping up to Hampshire tomorrow.
