Ok, the back-blipping starts in earnest here.

First day of the holiday and, technically speaking, today's image is more antipodal than normal, there's certainly more geographical distance between top (Edinburgh) and bottom (Paris) than is usually the case.

Charles De Gaulle airport is pretty great on arrival, it's like summat out of Blade Runner. When you're still walking around after longer than you feel is strictly necessary looking for your transit tho' the novelty wears off and you start to wish you were in a different movie. But - all good, holidays and that. French food, French drink, French stuff in general lies ahead.
