Journey Through Time

Something Artsy

Decided to fiddle with our yellow gerbera daisy.  This is what came of that.  Well, I had fun, which is the main thing.

We saw our friends last night, the ones who lost their son.  Well, THAT was painful, but I'm glad we finally were able to see them.  I don't wish for anybody to go through this.  I have thought often of Blipper TeeJay, in NZ, who lost her son more than a year, maybe two actually... ago now.  Never thought that such a tragedy would hit closer to home.  Tears and more tears.

We've been in an unusually dry and hot spell these past days.  It actually got to 90 F, which broke the records.  Well, I should hope so, for April.  We had a thunderstorm tonight as cooler air came in to mix with the warm humid air of today.  Most of the action was south west of us, but we did have one big crack of lightening and then Ka BOOM, as it was practically on top of us.  Then all was quiet for a long time until we had a low rumbling roll of thunder in the distance.  And that was all we had for our weather entertainment for the day.  Which is far better than the freaky snowstorms earlier in Colorado and elsewhere, and the horrible floods that hit Texas.  Springtime...gotta love it.

Hope you are all well,  Hugs.
