Fur covered

Magnolia, overwintering
bare branches
come the spring
leaves slowly unfurl
bringing forth fur-covered buds
then slowly, uncovering
the purple 'bride',
the flower opens

In my neighbours garden :)

Work, then hospital appointment which was running late, cuppa with a friend, home for a rest and out at a Church meeting tonight!

Seems like I'm heading for another op, which I don't really want, but is needed as the condition could make me sicker :(


Apologies for lack of commenting this week, it really has been a busy old week, covering the Manager and the other temp being on holiday!  I'm amazed I'm still blipping daily...

What is going on?  Ronnie Corbett, Victoria Wood and now Prince.  Celebrities passing, happening so much this year!
