The Beast In The Swamp

Another lovely sunny day - but with a chilly wind coming in during the afternoon.

I should have taken out the macro lens for the opening sycamore buds - but he 14-45mm was fine for the cherry blossom.

It wasn't so great for the heron though.
I came across him fishing for frogs and was about 12' away just bringing the camera up when PD decided to join me instead of trailing along a couple of hundred yards behind as he normally does in this area. Needless to saw the bird left for the top a beech tree at high speed!

After school we took the monsters down to the park again for a while.
The Cygnet took it upon himself to show Squirrel the route up the spider web slide.
The designer told us the day it opened that it was designed with older teenagers in mind.
Well, at three and a half, Squirrel has cracked it.
We were really proud of her (and her brother at five and a half).
PD - ttps://www.flickr.com/photos/10180444@N08/25957851834/in/dateposted-public/ .............. not so much. He was more intent in just soaking up the sun.
