Courthouse

I was in my hometown today for a dental appointment which was a very good one, and I took photos later.  This is the Wilson County Courthouse (see the panel below the clock) and it is dated 1924 in inscription below the clock.  I took other photos around downtown and enjoyed a time to be nostalgic before driving back home.  Wilson, North Carolina is about 1 hour from Raleigh, the state's capital, and it's about 2 hours from the Atlantic Ocean in the eastern coastal plain of the state.  There was a time when Wilson was the largest bright leaf tobacco market in the world.
