Sailors just in from sea obviously don't have great in pick up lines, but this promiscuous lass didn't seem to mind.

We went down to the Geelong waterfront after dinner to play with cameras and lights. Having lived in Murchison for so long, where there are no night lights, I still have a lot of learning to do. I wanted this pair of bollards to be the focus of my image but was having trouble 'lifting' them so I tried starting my long exposure with a flash. It helped.

I wondered what back flash would have done for the image - but I don't know how to set that up. Still plenty of learning to do.
