Long-tailed Tits

Every year at about this time several pairs of Long-tailed Tits descend upon our garden and nest here; this year is no exception.  I believe that these cheeky little birds are by far my favourite.  We put out food for them, which we believe they like, but when it has all been eaten these cheeky little birds fly up to the kitchen window and tap upon it, until we go and put more food out for them.  So far this year they have not done this, whether this lot are different or we have just ensured that there is enough food I am not sure.  Today’s blip is of two of these feeding on the fat balls, which one of our Squirrels was eating from the other day.
