Great Scott!

Today we visited Abbotsford, home of Sir Walter Scott, at Tweedbank, in the Scottish Borders. I travelled on the recently reopened Border Railway, the others by car. The railway was interesting, especially the half furthest from Edinburgh. I saw the first hare I've seen in years!

My extra today is of a lovely little hybrid primrose, growing in profusion in the walled garden.
