Young ANZAC

Well, I was going to call this 'In the Trenches', but I see Mario beat me to it.

Today we went to ANZACs in Action 2016, at Rangitata (it's ANZAC Day on Monday, a public holiday in NZ).
They had displays and a dug out trench that you could walk through to see the 'soldiers' firing on the 'enemy' - it was very loud! They had Army truck and tank rides for the kiddies too, as well as old steam engines.

ANZAC is an abbreviation for Australia New Zealand Army Corp.

From Wikipedia:
ANZAC Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders "who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations" and "the contribution and suffering of all those who have served."
