Whoooaa!

We had a bit of a surprise this morning, a good foot of heavy snow fell during the night and we are stuck here for now as the roads are blocked.

We also learned from a neighbor that there was another storm the night before we arrived that had the highway between Moncton and Halifax blocked with people stranded in their car for up to 16 hours. He also said the weatherman called for another 25-30 cm tonight.

This is not good as we have to go to Halifax tomorrow and home on Monday. The last kilometer of road to the cottage is not municipal therefore not open by them. Let's hope someone clears a path.

The snow in the tress is totally awesome though. Eyelash Wish and I have taken lots of picture.
