Dog in a bog

Very productive day and one in which Caley scored well too:

He got a quick stretch at Achaderry then we cleared a big boot load of junk from our garage and went to the recycling yard. We continued to do a tender visit at a site in the hills -the blip images- north of the A830 midway between Glenfinnan and Lochailort.

We stopped at the NTS centre at Glenfinnan for a coffee. The place was heaving with tourists and I am sure some would have been disappointed that the famous monument was shrouded in scaffolding. Many folk mistakenly assume the statue on top is of Bonnie Prince Charlie. It is actually of a Jacobite soldier. To the best of my knowledge (and I am open to correction of course) the only UK statue of BPC is in Derby in the English East Midlands.
