Anzac Day

We were woken this morning by the Anzac Day dawn service at Kings Park.

We were able to hear the bagpipes playing, parts of the speeches and the last bugle. After the service there was a plane flyover. Amazing to be part of this even on the fringes.

For those outside Australia, Anzac Day is a day of remembrance that commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.
