Santa Cruz Boardwalk

Another photo taken with a serious 4/3rds zoom on the new camera. I guess I was a little tired last night when I posted yesterday's image and made the challenge to guess the new camera in my stable.

The hints were:

It's very new on the market - just released for retail sales this mid July - very hard to find.

It's a 4/3rds format - Okay, this wasn't the greatest hint as there are a lot of new 4/3rds cameras coming onto the market.

It's very cool looking - Yeah, I was tired. But, it IS cool looking and turning out to be quite a capable camera.

Okay, it's the new Olympus OM-D - it's cool looking as it looks identical to the old OM-1 system camera that I bought in 1974 and started getting serious about my photography. Why Olympus hasn't done this earlier, I have no idea, but now it's the fastest selling digital camera on the market. Lots of really cool features.

I will be continuing to use it for images to be posted here and hopefully everyone will feel comfortable giving their opinion on the results. Any questions can be posted in comments if you like as well.

I processed this one with Topaz Adjust as it was a super telephoto shot and there was a bit of distortion in the skyline that made me uncomfortable. The telephoto was equivalent of 600mm, handheld!

Cheers and Please Enjoy!
