In Memory

On Saturday morning Jack and I will set out to travel to Ireland for four days.  There we will meet up with my son and daughter in law and my sister, her husband and one of their daughters . (PhilippaJ we will miss you) We are there mainly to attend a blessing of the memorial stone to our maternal grandmother and all her family which my sister Angela and I organised when we visited there last October.  

As you can see the stone mason has carved a lovely stone which remembers our grandma, her two children who died as teenagers and the rest of the family who lived and died in either England or the USA.  They are together, if in name only, for the first time since the 1920s.
