Gear

This rather substantial looking gear mechanism is actually rather small.  It is part of a sophisticated (and very simple to use) lever corkscrew that I received as a birthday present many years ago - but I suspect that is not at all obvious from the picture.  The mechanism isn't showing a lot of wear (despite the amount of use it gets).
