Red wing landing

The day started cold and wet, it stayed cloudy most of the day. This evening it cleared and after I was finished laundry I got out for a walk. I went to the one end of the  lake looking for a sunset see my extra, and I got it but at the same time the red wing flew up to meet me for a peanut. I was not ready with the camera and missed the shot. 10 minutes later I tried again and was prepared this time and got the shot.
