A TREE WISH......

... for those who drop by regularly, you are aware a LOT of my shots come from the gum trees at the back park, and normally of birds....

Well after a recent severe storm which sadly brought a very big tree down and killed a passenger in a passing car after falling on the car! Council have conducted checks of all trees in their area located in Public Parks.

Well this one was tagged to be cut down from our Park out the back. The guy was something to watch, as he very nicely worked his way up then down the tree, cutting as he went. In about 50 minutes all done!!

These shots taken having a bit of fun with a lens ( Nikon 80-400mm) which Jensphotos loaned me to try out on some of the birds around. 
Tomorrow will head down to the mighty Nepean River and see what's is flying around??? Thanks Jen.
