A royal outing

Mum, Rory and I went to Madame Tussaud's this afternoon. It was horrendously busy with queues even though we'd pre-booked. However, we did manage to see all the stars and Rory loved meeting all the famous folk, especially the royal family and his pop heroes. We avoided the serial killer room (pitch black and with live actors). It baffles me why many London attractions have to have a horror aspect. In this particular case, I can't see the value of giving serial killers any floor space. It's plain creepy and oh so wrong.

After the hustle and bustle and heat of Tussaud's, we chilled out with delicious raspberry ice creams in sunny Regent's Park.

Yet again our journey home on public transport was jinxed when a passenger and his friends had a go at the bus driver. After much loud cussing on the part of the passenger (had he paid - he thought so, but the driver said he hadn't), a traffic policeman arrived and the rest of the passengers left the bus since it was going nowhere fast. We walked to the next bus stop to avoid the brawling loudmouths and hopped on the next bus home. Phew!

Fred cooked us a lovely meal and we collapsed in front of Hugo, which was magical.
