Playing games

We had a fine London day today (and I'm not talking about the weather - Dreich!) The first port of call was Madame Tussaud's, but the queue was so ridiculous that we took one look and headed elsewhere. I'll advance book for the next time Rory comes to visit. The wee man thought it would be smart to go shopping indoors. A short tube hop and we were in Westfield, the shopping centre to beat all shopping centres. We replenished our strength over tea and people-watched. The height of some of those feet-torture devices was eye-watering. We watched one particular fashion victim teeter past us then very painfully manouevre herself around a shopping bag on the floor (not ours - we wouldn't be so cruel). Ouch!

Then home for tea and Jenga. The visitors will be safe at home tomorrow and dad will be pleased to have them back. It's been fantastic having them here to visit. I'm sorry the cat wasn't more friendly, but at least he was about and didn't move away completely for the duration.
