Sunny Side Up

For today's Blip, I chose this still life portrait of one of my favorite frilly Spring wildflowers, the Daisy Fleabane. This little beauty (which many would consider simply a weed) is a member of the Aster family and its name was derived from the belief that sprinkling the dried flowers of this plant throughout a home would rid it of fleas,
The photo was taken exactly 4 years ago today, and it turned out so beautifully (sans editing), that it remains one of my all time personal favorite shots.
