Buckle Yeat

We took the ferry over to the other side of Lake Windermere today with the intention of doing a decent walk and visiting Hill top farm where Beatrix Potter lived. Unfortunately, we didn't find out until we got there that it was closed today, I suppose I should have checked on the website. The 17century property, Buckle Yeat which is nearby is mentioned in several of her books so I thought I would make this my blip for today. We saw some lambs with waterproof jackets on, see extras. We ended up walking over 9 miles and it only rained occasionally.
