Above And Beyond...

The Pod Window

We had planned to go for a walk but the sporadic rain between the sun re-appearing put us off that as damp clothes would be a pain to dry. Instead we visited Marlborough town, which we like very much from previous visits, and then headed for Salisbury. By this time the sun was well and truly out; we enjoyed a walk around Salisbury Cathedral where I took the extra of it set against a loveky blue and white sky.

When we got back to the campsite, the relatives had arrived. After baked potatoes stuffed with tuna, we joined them roundthe campfire for a drink and chat before heading off to bed.

The main blip picture is of the overhead window in the Eden pod that we are in. This IS the view of the stars we get as we lay in bed. Fabulous. It was a difficult photo to get, balancing a tripod on the bed, and stopping reflections from the room appearing in the window. It was worth the effort to record the memory.

You can quite clearly make out 'The Plough' star formation.
