Approaching storm

After work today my friend and I went for a meal at the Isle Ornsay Hotel, as he had to meet someone later on, and living where he does, you don't go home if you have to come out again immediately!

The hotel is in the village of Isle Ornsay, which is not on the island but on the adjacent mainland and about half-way between the Skye bridge and Point of Sleat.

This is a long telephoto view of the Isle Ornsay lighthouse and adjoining cottages backed by an approaching strom. Built in 1857, it was automated in 1962 and in 1966 bought by naturalist and author Gavin Maxwell of 'Ring of Bright Water' fame, and converted into a spacious cottage. My extra is a closer version.
