The way to go?

I went to Sejny on a brief and rudimentary shopping expedition, largely owing to the Spartan lunch menu. I came back via the reserve. These trees often puzzle people, in fact sometimes there are downward arrows on more than on side which give the trunk a square cross-sectional appearance. It's a sign that someone once made successive 'v' shaped cuts to harvest the resin. It must have been a long time ago. One use for the resin would have been for making fly papers.
