A little ruffled

This little lady seemed to be getting a bit ruffled by the wind!

Thankfully I took this early as .... true to recent form ..... it has been raining again this afternoon ...... only cats & dogs this time ...... not the hippos & elephants of yesterday!

We had quite a surprise last night ..... well early this morning about 1.30am ...... heard a strange noise ..... a cross between a snuffling & grunting ...... finally realised it was coming from just outside the window ...... looked out & there were 2 Hedgehogs in the garden! We watched them for about 10minutes .... then one went off for a run around the garden & disappeared through the fence ..... the other one stayed for a few more minutes then also trotted off! Unfortunately it was too dark to be able to get a photo ..... but great to watch :-)
