Schools out for ever

I watched Le Tour de France on tv this afternoon after lazy day of pottering about. When I came out to the cabin to see if Helena wanted tea, she was in the hammock having read and dozed in the warm sunshine. She was sensibly relaxing after the end of a hard term.

Bomble was in attendance too, with his smaller friend, and they were up to the same games yet again.

When Helena got up and the cats had gone away, I pushed myself backwards into the arms of the bay tree, to get far enough away to take this shot across the patio. I may have to get my hammock out too if summer now rises to the occasion.
