Back Blip - May Day Clean Up Crew

Seems this year's Labour Day march went off without getting out of hand.  Last year was a different story... with lots of contestation also near to the opening of the World Expo that turned into violence and burning cars, dumpsters and even stores.  That lasted a couple blocks until the squat police could get them to disband.

I'm not sure I understand all the politics... in that there were various platform trucks with huge concert speakers blaring tecno music and carrying kegs of beer to keep their followers happy...  Lots of stop-off's by the merry goers to take a restroom break in the park down below.  I was tempted to post an embarrassing picture to get even, but doesn't really sit very well in my fun spirited Blip theme.  The party goers seemed more interested in getting drunk than really making a difference.  I especially liked the caravan with narry a political slogan except for a ratty wet paper poster than was ripped and so soggy you couldn't read it.  That didn't stop the rebellious looking youth in leathers and dread locks from rocking out to their tecno and drinking like fish...
