Just looking

Another tiring but fascinating day. We went to some small villages near where we are staying. I love these old places. I took this looking up the street in the village of Baisha. It is famed for its embroidery school, which we popped into to have a look. The master embroiderer gives lessons to promising students for free, to ensure the tradition is continued. They were absolutely stunning but very expensive. We didn't make a purchase.
In the distance you can see Snow Mountain which is about 5.5 thousand metres, but according to our guide no one has ever climbed to the summit.
We also saw some more tie dyed goods which I shall show in an extra if possible. they were drying in the sun in the garden.

Edit; apparently all snow covered mountains are called Snow mountains. This particular one is Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. A delightful name I think.
