Period Drama

Had a day out in town, browsing and shopping (I got a shirt, Mrs Lomond got shoes) then a delicious late lunch in the Merchant City.
Weather had been fine until the very minute we stepped out of the restaurant, when the heavens opened. (What else to expect on a Bank Holiday!)
Walking back along the street, we were asked by a security guard which way we were going; when we told him, he let us go on. When I queried why he was asking, he pointed out that there were some road closures as the BBC were filming a drama and they didn't want people wandering into shot. Looking up the street, we could see actors in period costume, then I spotted this car and bus sitting waiting for their cue to move, so that they could be filmed as passing traffic.
We think (but don't quote me) that it could be BBC Scotland's production of 10 Rillington Place, which is currently filming at the BBC's Dumbarton studios, with Tim Roth and Samantha Morton.
Clearly with the bus they're using the location as a double for period London. Not the first time this area of the city has doubled for elsewhere - it was featured in the movie Cloud Atlas doubling for 1970s San Francisco, and in the movie World War Z as modern-day Philadelphia.

In keeping with the period setting I've desaturated some of the colour from the image.
