The Running Clock

Standing 3 metres high, The Running Clock [sculptor George Wyllie] was commissioned by Radio Clyde in 2000 to commemorate their 25 years of independent broadcasting, and was inspired by the hustle & bustle of Buchanan Street Bus Station.

Sometimes also referred to as The Clyde Clock, Glasgow artist Wyllie designed it to chime just once, at 8pm - which he considered the ideal meeting time.

Killermont Street, Glasgow.
