Euphorbia

I'm very fond of these plants, and happily we have lots that grow wild here.  This is a cultivated one - which I like for it's dark red stems, and the fact that it beautifully thrives on my neglect.

Back to school today: an early start which required a return to bed for me after the kids had disappeared.  Then off to yet another garage to beg for help with our broken car (ie the stationary one, rather than the broken one that's still motoring).  That should be sorted out tomorrow.  

Tonight, after CarbBoy's late basketball training, Mr B decided that Richard II would be good family viewing.  As we all later agreed: Shakespeare is long.  Helpfully, the kids have another long weekend coming up to recover.
