False morel?

There was a division here about the false status. A wayward shoe however obviated the need for someone to eat a small piece and wait 6 hours, as advised by one website. There is a group of these interesting fungi in our actual garden, now minus one. They are quite rare here. False or not, they smell quite appetising.
