Eating out

As Leo is at camp and we had the evening to ourselves we stopped off for a bite to eat on the way home. We dropped in on the Pinhoe Hoard - so named as it is built on the site where some metal detectorists discovered some Bronze Age axes and bracelets which are now on show at the Exeter Museum. I snapped the replicas which adorned one of the walls. I hadn't spotted those before - usually we are in the kids area so it was nice to see a different bit of the restaurant.

It has been a good day for steps as I've clocked up almost 11 miles, mainly thanks to doing book moves all morning then having to leg it to our other campus after lunch to help a PhD student with some research.

It has been a very odd evening without Leo - we haven't quite known what to do with ourselves!
