The second half of life..

What an amazing spell of weather we've had lately!  Temperatures at this time of the year usually (so we're told) range from around 13 to 18 degrees C up and down the country.  How crazy that some places are hitting highs of up to 24 degrees and many places are consistenly breaking 20 degrees then.  We hit 21 today - real tee-shirt and shorts weather.  It didn't seem quite right to be watching a rugby match in such warmth!  The 'grass' is so dry that at times the boys kicked up a small dust storm.  Being tackled to the ground on this pitch must surely have hurt more than usual.

I had hoped to get a few action shots but duty calls and I had to go take a class.  This wee chap was there with his 'dad' apparently watching the game.......and feeling a little thirsty in the heat too!
