'Roos at Sunset'

This afternoon was spent with Inma, a Spanish Archiect who has been working in our office with us for the last 6 months. Unfortunately her time in Australia is coming to an end soon. I had promised her that if she came out and visited us at our house, I'd show her some kangaroos.

Firstly, we went for a walk around the 80 acre bush block at the back of our house where we can normally find some roos, but no luck today. It was a nice day for a walk and the kids always enjoy getting out the back to run around and kick the football or soccer ball.

We drove up to St. Andrews Pub after our walk to listen to some live music, have a beer and relax. Josh Owen was playing there today, think I'll have to check out more of his music on iTunes, was liking what I was hearing.

We took the back roads on the way home, where I knew we would definately come across some Kangaroos. Found a herd in a paddock on the side of the road and we all jumped out of the car for Inma to have a look. Just as we were about to get back in my car, another car passed us and pulled over. Mun rocognized the driver, who happened to be the friend that introduced her to Blipfoto Nevermore. Nice to finally put a face to the beautiful photos I've been looking at and commenting on the the last 6 or 7 weeks.

As the sun was setting, we came across another herd on the horizon, again jumped out of the car and had to take some photos as the sunset was just gorgeous and the roos were in silhouette. This is tonights blip.

Some more photos from our day here.

Hope eveyone has had a good weekend.
