Pop Star Mics

Penni and Laura were excited to show me their special radio microphones for when they're teaching memory verses to the senior campers - their methods are certainly memorable, from songs, to raps, to actions, to powerpoints with reversing sheep over the years!

We had a few crises at camp today: we woke up to find our kitchen flooded! The cooks plus some of the team worked amazingly well to clean it up and breakfast was still served on time. We also had some issues with a camper's violin. I've never seen such stiff pegs! Then once we thought we'd sorted that out the tailpiece broke! Luckily her parents were leaders at the senior camp and were happy for us to try and fix it with some superglue. Now she can play her violin and I can actually tune it! Praise God!

I had a great time at the high ropes course this morning with some of the junior campers. I caught the trapeze on the leap of faith challenge and even managed to stand on top of a platform the size of a pizza box at the top of a large wobbly pole with three other campers. I got some great snaps but for obvious reasons, we aren't allowed to publish photos including campers from SU events.
