The Imperial Fritillary

It's called Kaiserkrone (Kaiser's Crown) here and it looks quite splendid in the sun.

Today is a holiday in Germany - Ascension Day in Englisch and Christi Himmelfahrt in German.  I was quite pleased about having a day off, after 3 days away, I needed a bit of time to regroup and relax.

Funnest moment of the day came at breakfast.  I was eating my ham roll as per usual when Munni decided that Munnis like ham more than anything else in world ever and tried to eat the ham out of my roll as I was eating.

Can't be doing with that and I fetched her a slice of her own.  It disappeared in seconds.  I never knew cats ate ham.

Back to work tomorrow.  I suspect I'll be alone in the office - most people book the Friday off if we have a Thursday holiday.  It'll be fine though, I have lots to do and it should be quiet enough.
