Spring Silhouette

It was an odd day at work.  It always is after a Thursday holiday. 

People usually take the Friday as a Brückentag ("bridge day") so that they and everybody else who has taken the day off can all try to go to the same garden-centres/supermaarkets/DIY stores at the same time.  This allows them to sit and seethe in traffic, just like they do in rush hour every day, but in their own time.  I'm not sure that has been all that well thought out. 

Especially since today was one of the first really warm days - unrelenting sunshine from the moment I got out of the bus to work.

I, on the other hand, got to work nice and early in an uncrowded bus.  had a very quiet day getting on with things and travelled home on another uncrowded bus.  I felt that I had disappeared..
