Migrant in Moscow

Church Mouse

Unseen, probably unheralded, a lady tending to the flower bed at the Church of Saints Afanasiya and Kirill on Sivsek Vrazhek (to give it it's full name).  The church has been running in one format or another, wooden or brick, since the 16th century.  Except for a gap of 60 years during the communist era when it was used, variously, as a warehouse, as shops and as a dormitory for a nearby workshop. I remember blipping it in another context - just didn't realise it was that long ago (on 25 November 2014).  That's one of the many nice things about blipfoto - it helps bookmark one's life.
