A Wall Of Bluebells

I went out for our 'big shop' this morning - only it was slightly less big than usual as we are trying to run down our stocks in the freezer a bit. I also went to Elvington (nr York) to a homebrew supplier to collect a few bits.

After lunch we we went to Hetchell Woods (nr Wetherby) for walk through the nature reserve and along the old Leeds to Harrogate railway line which is now a bridleway.

I thought there might be some bluebells to photograph - and boy was I right! This is just part of an amphitheatre like embankment which is smothered in flowers. I did try a panorama series but the flowers really didn't show up so well. There were also loads of other patches around and they were all so bright.
