Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Owzat?

Well and truly bowled.

This was a lucky result of the only shot I took while I was escorting 4yo and 7yo around the boundary on their scooters. Not quite bails flying, but the wicket is down and from the expressions of the players, nobody has realised it yet. View large, and you can pick out the ball against the wicket.

In one of those cyclical moments that blipping throws up, I last brought you the cricket from here on July 17 last year.

Roberts Park was very busy on a sunny day, with a band in the bandstand, cricket to watch and ice creams to be had. It's a great setting, next to the River Aire and with the terraces and mills of Saltaire on the other side, and for us just a mile down the hill.
