Daffodils....

....for flower friday!
 I had such a great time today! My friend Judy flew in from California, so she & I, along with Patti and Roseann all got together for lunch. Patti and Judy have known each other since they were toddlers--they grew up together & both went to nursing school in Madison, which is where I met them--some 47 years ago! We all met Roseann at our first hospital job after graduating, & we've all kept in touch over the years. We had so much fun talking and laughing!  3 1/2 hours later we left the restaurant and went for a walk along the Lake, where we talked another hour before we all headed our separate ways. "Old" friends are so special, because we never have to explain anything--we already know each others' history-- so can just pick up where we left off the last time!   :))
