On her way to the final

Pippa leading the way for the 100m freestyle final for 11 to 13 year old girls. She swam that final in lane 8 and that is why Pippa was first to walk out (loud music playing). She did pretty well with a new PB (again) in about 1:08 - not sure about the precise time.
Only 20 mins later Pippa also competed in the 100m backstroke. She totally rocked that final and came in 2nd place with another huge PB in 1:16 min! They were called out on the podium on the sounds of Chariots of Fire :-)
We then packed up in the lovely apartment we were allowed to stay in for the last 2 days. Drove to Middelkerke to drop off the keys of the apartment. Then Pippa and I drove to Goedereede - it took almost 3 hrs to get there...
Abbie and Bert had cooked us a lovely meal which we devoured (yum!). Now chilling with a glass of wine. Two more days on the coast to look forward to!
