Aqua Warfare

When we moved to Arizona last year, our dearest friends moved to San Juan Puerto Rico. Fortunately the ship stopped in San Juan today. Since would be swimming in their apartment building's pool , I recommended that James bring his swimming trunks. James insisted that he wouldn't be swimming, so there was no reason to bring swim gear.

At one point, one of the children soaked James with a water blaster. At that point, it was war with James on land against 7 children and 2 mothers in the water. The game lasted over an hour with the kids soaking James. He fought back with water blasts and by throwing any child who dared to exit the pool back in. The 7 children schemed over and over to develop strategies to defeat him. He was invincible until he finally gave in and allowed the kids to throw him in the pool.

James wore Chris' clothes during dinner while his clothes were in the dryer. It was so great to catch up with our friends. A 6 hour visit was not long enough. Bob and I wished that the cruise ship could have left us there for a few days at least.
