Fishing Boats

12.9C cloudy and dull. Light rain in the afternoon. Easterly wind to 23 mph with gusts to 31 mph.

After lunch Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a shorter walk than recently since it wasn't such a nice day. Jethro Tull on the Mini (Broadsword and the Beast). My Nano's on/off button seems to have stuck and I can't switch it on at all. Apothecary7 has kindly donated her old iPod Mini (she got a new Nano when she changed her car last time ... to suit its sound system). I have cleared the Mini, and set up a new library in iTunes for it. I have loaded my most listened to music and will use the opportunity to put less listened to music on in the days ahead.

We crossed the road and made our way across the park to the esplanade then walked round past the marina to the two quays of the harbour. The loch wasn't as calm today, and it was just past high tide. There were a lot of fishing boats clustered round the head of the old quay today, and at the new quay a rather odd looking boat with tanks of some sort on its deck.

We walked out to the end of the park then came back along the street side and made our way back past the harbour again to get home.
