Southend and Dereliction with Saturated Colour

11.4C (Met Office Campbeltown airport ... it was warmer than that !). Sunny sunshine. Light W/WNW breeze.

Grocery shopping.

We went the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. Lots of seals on the rocks and in the sea next to the shore at Kiel. The pinks were in full bloom and very colourful all along the rocks and the little wall by the road at Kiel.

At Carskey we walked along to the far end and came back again. The sea was flat calm. Tiny waves were breaking in the beach making lovely sounds. There were several Gannets diving and a few Terns doing the same just off the beach. The Terns were very vocal.

There were several boxes of eggs for sale at Little farm's roadside stand today including duck eggs.
I bought a box of hen's eggs.

Later Apothecary7 was painting.

Afternoon music ... BBC Radio 2.
