Piles of fun

A friend and I paddled out to Little Port Cooper today, all 24 kms of beautiful conditions. We do live in a beautiful place!
It was amazingly calm, as you can see by the reflections of the piles in the old, mostly abandoned, marina.
There's a dear little schoolhouse at Little Port Cooper, built c 1883, which was used by the children of the families serving the nearby signal station, plus the farming community. I've put a photo of it into Extras. We had our lunch sitting in front of it, enjoying the view out to Godley Head.
