A Day Worth Recording

Our 'proper day at the Malvern Show. Expecting that I'd be carrying plenty I left the SLR at home and relied on the phone. Didn't take that many photo's given that once you seem the first million flowers the subsequent million aren't quite so interesting.

However, there was an 'arty' corner of the floral displays hall and two caught E's eye - this planet-themed one and and 'fire & ice' black and white artwork made from plant material which was impressive, in unphotographable.

Only came back with a couple of carrier bags of plants, all with specific sites in mind.  OK, so there may have been 50+ bulbs in the rucksack as well which I'm sure we'll find a hole for.  Or 50+ holes.

The Met Office's Light Shower at the end of the afternoon turned out to be a Heavy Thunderstorm.  Perhaps they meant a shower of light flashes?

Enjoyed a meal out at the pub with our friends/guests.
