Tall and pink and young and lovely

I hope all mothers and "like-a-mother" figures out there had a wonderful day today (and everyday, for that matter). 

During my morning walks I've noticed a small plant sprouting out of a pile of bark chips. The mound of chips has remained undisturbed and the small green sprout has grown into this tall and vivacious beauty. My photo doesn't do it justice, it stands at least 3 feet tall. Notice the interesting speckles inside each flower!
